The COVID-19 pandemic has led to dramatic loss of human lives worldwide and presents an
unprecedented challenge to public health. Consequently, it has severely disrupted food systems,
livelihoods, and dietary patterns.
SAVING LIVES THROUGH EMERGENCY BLOOD DONATIONS AND HEALTH SCREENINGS August 2017-August 2019
Through its research activities, the Foundation identified a critical need to strengthen the health
status of residents in Cape Coast and its surrounding communities, with particular focus on the
University of Cape Coast (UCC).
