Driving Change Through Humanitarianism
NAA oo NAA Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization established in 2017 in Ghana by Ms. Racheal Aryee. The Foundation is registered under the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992) and recognized as a non-governmental organization in Ghana with the Licensing Number NPOS/GRO1/LN0847/23. The Foundation was birth out of an activists’ movement that existed in the University of Cape Coast – Ghana in 2017, geared towards advancing the welfare of students.
The Naa oo Naa Foundation is founded primarily on the principle of humanitarianism, an endearing value embodied in the name “Naa.” Naa is the middle name of the founder and director of the foundation. It is a Ghanaian name rooted in the cultural heritage of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, symbolizing feminine strength, dignity, leadership, and humanitarianism. More than a name, “Naa” represents a philosophy of transformative advocacy, endearing humanitarianism associated with feminine identity.
The expression “Naa oo Naa” carries both emphasis and acclamation. The repetition of “Naa,” with the “oo” at its center, was the people’s acclamation of the motherly leadership and social advocacy that the Founder Racheal “Naa” Aryee represented at the University of Cape Coast.
Once a powerful rallying call for inclusive leadership and social advocacy, “Naa oo Naa” has evolved into an institution committed to driving sustainable change through humanitarianism, and advancing the well-being of communities.
The Foundation holds in esteem to create job opportunities for equipping the youth with relevant skills in developing their human capacity which will ultimately catapult them into creating capital for themselves.
The Foundation mobilizes resources to create an effective means to promote continued growth and transformation for the youth, women and Persons Living with Disabilities.
An effort to ground worthwhile life skills that are useful.

The Foundation is uniquely positioned with its core mandate to promote and enhance the wellbeing and development of the underprivileged communities, including persons living with disabilities in Ghana. From the very beginning, the foundation was formed to address four thematic areas that the Foundations’ Research Team identified as shortfalls in underprivileged communities in Ghana.
These areas of interest are; Health, Education, Entrepreneurship and Legal Support Services (HEELs)
The foundation later limited its focus to Health, Education and Entrepreneurship, with Legal Advocacy embedded in Education.
The Foundation has contributed its quota to the development of communities in Ghana and has by far benefitted about Thirty-Five Thousand (35,000) persons in Ghana.
